Hey everyone, hope you all had a great weekend!

I know I did with all of this beautiful weather; we completed a lot of projects we've been needing to do! So there will be lots of updated photos on our social media accounts, you can find us on Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, Twitter, and of course our website.

We found this heavy duty mirror at an auction a while back and had neglected it until this weekend; we turned its awesome detail features into an incredible refinished piece.

This mirror was hard to let go, just check out the before and after!

I used Florence in Annie Sloan Chalk Paint and a light distressing technique to make all those beautiful details pop!

Turquoise Rockstars

We bought this solid oak rocking chair and the open face china hutch from an auction in the spring. They've been sitting in storage waiting for us to refinish them and place them in the store.

We refinished both pieces in a custom turquoise color in Annie Sloan Chalk Paint, using a new technique to add more character. One thing that I really love about ASCP is how you can mix colors so easily together and they always end up beautiful, no mucky mixed colors. So I mixed up a couple of my favorite paint colors and went to town on the chair and China hutch! 

The China Hutch sold the first week we opened the store! But fortunately for you all the turquoise rocking chair is still up for grabs!

Lemons and Lace will be having an Open House Party on October 10th and we will be putting a lot more items in the store for you all to grab up!
