We bought this solid oak rocking chair and the open face china hutch from an auction in the spring. They've been sitting in storage waiting for us to refinish them and place them in the store.
We refinished both pieces in a custom turquoise color in Annie Sloan Chalk Paint, using a new technique to add more character. One thing that I really love about ASCP is how you can mix colors so easily together and they always end up beautiful, no mucky mixed colors. So I mixed up a couple of my favorite paint colors and went to town on the chair and China hutch!
The China Hutch sold the first week we opened the store! But fortunately for you all the turquoise rocking chair is still up for grabs!
